| Prairies Edge Ranch A small operation located in the North Central part of South Dakota. Boardering the "Bad Lands" in the gentle rolling hills of the Prairie. Just a few miles down a rural gravel road, outside of a small friendly town. (We don't even have a signal light, let alone a "Wal-Mart!) We Relocated from the Majestic beauty of Northern California. There is a different kind of beauty here. It isn't the same "commanding" and "Powerful" presence you feel from the majestic mountain ranges of the Western part of the country, or the crashing of the oceans waves meeting the sand on a coastal shore. Its more of a "haunting" type of beauty, almost quiet, yet it can cause you to catch your breath just the same. From the energy , color & fury of a Summer's Storm, the sparkle of a dew on a still crispt fall morning, to the pure white of new fallen snow. You can learn to see, & "feel" life here, In a way that is hard to find in most other places. Miles of nothing but you and the land, "life" in it's most natural form. I hope from your visit here, you can see a little of what I have come to love about my life here. The freedom, the open space, the land, the "Wind"..... |
