We specialize in provided aid and education to families, youth and at risk youth by dealing with the dynamics that make up the dysfunctional family systems & syndromes. The belief systems that cause the behaviors, the reactions to situations and others. The "link" that can separate the mind and the heart, keeping them from working together. You can not expect one member of a family to change a behavior unless you work with the whole family. We would like to lend a hand towards saving lives. To replant a small seed of "compassion". That sometimes seems to evade us, for what ever reasons. The plain complexity of trying to "make" a life for ourselves can turn our heads away..But something still filters through to our hearts..whether we take notice of it or not. The world has become so large, so "fast" so many of us walking around can, become "lost" and unable at times to "feel"..What is truly important in life , and all it really is, is just that... "Life". It's all around us, it's in every part of the country and the world, its' the air we breath, the wind that brushes our cheek, it's the smile , or the tear of the child sitting on a park bench, it's in the "hearts" of us all. And Animals are apart of this life. We the "keepers" of the planet are responsible for them,,for them all. Our goal is to put the sparkle back in the eyes, awaken fallen hope, and teach how to keep the hope alive. A smile back on the face of a child that can't understand the heartaches in this world, and has become a statistic in it's wave just the same. The numbers of abused, neglected, or ADDHD children. and unwanted horses,, in the world are staggering.. Our hope is to help educate people. How simple words can effect the emotions and behaviors of a child, and or an adult. How feelings are transferred, how hidden thoughts taught generation to generation can create our reactions and behaviors, the list goes on. We strive to "Break" Those Chains"! We strive to teach that all life has value. Both our Equine Rescue and breeding operation go hand in hand with our Therapeutic program. We educate for responsible breeding. To not breed an animal that would produce an undesirable trait, or for the sake of "having a foal",,To not breed an animal if they are not going to be able to have the time to raise a "safe" and "wanted" animal. The list goes on. We hope that by doing so, will help save some of the lives of these wonderful animals..that in themselves stand for what we all strive to achieve in our hearts. Love, truth, freedom. They are innocent souls. And true hearts ... Horses helped to "build" this country, they are one of the only living links we have to our pasts. And our Children are our future. We put the horses that have come to be in our care with children, who have come from troubled environments. Who believe themselves "Thrown Away", they see the horses in the same light, that they also had been thrown away, and now they both have a 2nd chance. That creates an instant bond. That both the animals and the children can feel. Both unwanted and both left untrusting in the ways of the world. That in itself restores trust..And that is the beginning of the way "Back" for them both. Our long term goal is to expand our program, from our day programs, to include a full time on premise school, to better help children that may have fallen through the system, and find themselves with no where else to turn. That may find themselves "written off" because of their behaviors. We do not strive to be an "Institution" of captivity, We Strive to teach. Helping with the Healing of Hearts, one or "Two" hearts at a time. |
