| Owner & Founder of the Promise Equine Emotional & Behavioral Therapeutic Program D.Enise A Self Taught, Artist, Writer, Web Designer, Photographer and Councilor. The Single mother of two, who worked for and is now living her dreams. She calls home, a small horse ranch in a rural area of South Dakota, where she raises horses and is dedicated to the work she does helping children, families and horses. Using the "aid" of the horses she has developed unique techniqes to help at risk youth & their families, and she provides this service,free of charge. She is the founder and soul operator of the Promise Program, and calls it, "The Promise Ranch" . Asked why she calls the program "Promise", she said "because the youth & families we help, have lived lives of broken promises. Children coming from no "home" at all or broken single parent homes, homes that are filled with people, but without unity, the list goes on. We help the "family" , people and children that no longer know how to believe or trust in the world they have come to know. Even in that there still lives inside their hearts a guarded, and hidden piece of hope. We try to give them the hope back, and show them, that this world can be a safe place for their hearts to come out of hiding. That life is a Choice. That we may not always have a choice about the events that occur in our lives, but we do have a choice in what we do with it. it's in the way you view things. And the way we view things, is based on the structure of our belief systems. What we have been taught. There are little hidden thoughts within in us, that have been taught generation after generations, not always "verbally" , That can sometimes cause "conflicts" with what our heads tell us is wrong or right, and how are hearts can take control and cause impulsive behaviors. The "hidden" reason's why a child who grew up having been beat upon by a parent in many cases will grow up and find that behavior being acted out again by themselves. After having "Sworn" as a child to "Never be like" the parent. D.Enise is the Author of varied Articles in regards to behavioral modifications and emotional state of minds. The most recently published "Breaking Chains" As Well as Inspirational poetry. Most all of her works, include inspirational and messages of hope. The people she helps is not limited to children. Her teachers?, She replies, "Life has been my teacher, what I have learned is from my own experience's, tears, fears, "terrors" and after it all the Joy's. Children find their smiles again here, I tell them, they really can be what ever they want to be in this life, if they work at it, and "that's a promise". Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, a quiet suburb located in Southern California. She had been one of those children she helps today. She grew up and found after the birth of her first child that she was well on her way to becoming the parent she had been taught to be. She then worked to re-learn. She specializes in dysfunctional family systems and syndromes. All families are dysfunctional at some level. Her work deals with systems that are in the higher levels of dysfunction, at risk youth and families. The promise program's rate of success is based on her ability to read the horses, read the people that are searching for another way in life than what they have come to know, and putting together an undeniable "match" that produces "proof" of "thoughts" buried within the belief system. D.Enise brings into her work her lifelong passion for horses, and her desire to Break the harmful chains of pain. A Graduate of Southern California's Moorpark College, Equine Management, and Reproductive Program. A full time condensed two year program, That included Councilor duties and teaching. She graduated at the top of her class with honors, while working and raising her two children. As an extension of her therapeutic talents with children, And the sole financial support for the program aside from the horses she offers for sale, D.Enise applies herself in the fields of Artistic impression in several mediums, including desktop publishing , Digital Art, Graphics and Website Design. The Founder & Web Mistress of "Cowboys -n- Cowgirls.com", that, she states, "started out as a personal web site, to help with all the extra time spent indoors ,during the winter months, and to hopefully help in the costs of the program & ranch". "The site grew quickly and is beginning to opened the door for more work. That and it has provided some "wonderful opportunities to meet some really remarkable and wonderful people". She is also well known in the field of Equine photography, with her works having appeared in several publications that included front and second front pages of the California Horse Trader, as well as Equestrian Trails Incorporated. |
